Connecticut Department of Transportation has awarded a joint venture of Walsh Construction and Poole Construction a US$417 million contract for the new Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge.
The extradosed cable-stayed bridge over the Quinnipiac River is part of the I-95 New Haven Harbor Crossing corridor improvement programme. Construction is scheduled to begin in November 2009 for completion in 2015.
