Widening of Dubai's Al Maktoum Bridge has been completed and the bridge opened to traffic yesterday. It is part of an integrated scheme aimed at increasing provision for crossing Dubai Creek.
Other schemes include a floating bridge.
The Roads & Transport Authority has also announced that the new Al-Barsha - Al Soufoh Bridge will open shortly.
