Skanska has appointed Rautaruukki to supply and install the steel superstructure of the Partihallsförbindelsen Bridge in Gothenburg, Sweden. The contract is valued at about US$14 million.
The 1.2km bridge is part of a Swedish Road Administration highway scheme. Ruukki will work in close cooperation with main contractor Skanska and designer Ramböll.
Steel delivery and installation are scheduled for 2009 to 2010.
