The deck structure of the cable-stayed Can Tho Bridge that is being built over Vietnam's Hau River was joined up yesterday.
The 2.75km-long bridge, which has a 550m-main span, will provide four traffic lanes and two footpaths to link Can Tho city and Vinh Long province. Construction began in 2004 and is due for completion in March 2010.
