SNC-Lavalin's Vancouver-based division has won a contract to design and construct the Coast Meridian Overpass for the City of Port Coquitlam in British Columbia.
The US$94.5 million contract is for a 580m-long cable-stayed bridge over the railway yards linking north and south Port Coquitlam. SNC-Lavalin Constructors (Pacific) is set to start work this month, with completion scheduled for January 2010.
