Second national covered bridge conference

Dayton, Ohio, USA.

The FHWA National Historic Covered Bridge Preservation Program is sponsoring the conference in partnership with the National Park Service and US Forest Service. 

Themes include research and rehabilitation projects, best practice for rehabilitation, and continuing threats and challenges to covered bridges, including damage caused by Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee in 2011. 

Participants will have the opportunity to tour several historic covered bridges.
