Thien Truong Bridge is 0.8km long with a 20.5m cross-section. It has two 31.5m reinforced concrete towers and nine cables on each side. The 13 approach spans have a prestressed reinforced concrete girder structure.
Thien Truong is an old name for the region. The lotus shape which inspired the towers is considered a new symbol for Nam Dinh province.
