Abu Dhabi's Tourism Development & Investment Company has invited 10 prequalified contracting teams to bid for the construction of a 10-lane bridge to Saadiyat Island. The tender list includes international and local companies. Focus of the project is a 1.5km concrete box girder bridge with five lanes of traffic in each direction as well as provision for future rail tracks.
