The Romanian military and US Army have awarded a contract for joint assault bridge systems to Leonardo DRS.

The joint assault bridge (JAB) is a tank-based vehicle that delivers assault-bridging capabilities. Leonardo DRS is based in Arlington, Virginia, USA, and provides defence technology to the USA and allies. Aaron Hankins, senior VP and general manager of Leonardo DRS Land Systems said, “We are proud to continue to deliver this robust and reliable system to the US Army and allied militaries to ensure armoured vehicles can better navigate complex battlefield conditions.”
