US consultant Vollmer Associates has promoted three members of staff - Stelios Bertos, Toby Hansson and Gary Sorge - to the position of associate. Bertos is a senior structural engineer who specialises in bridge inspection, rehabilitation and design projects. He most recently served as team leader on the biennial inspection programme for the Goethals Bridge in Staten Island.
