Philippines president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has led a groundbreaking ceremony for the US$33 million Twin Skyway Bridge in Camarines Sur.
The project will link the municipalities of Libmanan and Canaman with the commercial district of Naga City. It is also a vital component of a river basin and watershed management project.
The design and build scheme includes two bridges meeting at an islet. The bridge on the Libmanan side is 300m long while the other is 100m.
