Vietnam's transport minister has called for better supervision and site safety following the fatal collapse this week of a bridge under construction.
Concrete beams approximately 40m long were reportedly being installed over the Cho Dem River at the time of the collapse, which killed one worker and seriously injured another.
The river bridge near Ho Chi Minh city is part of a 62km-long highway project.
The transport ministry has set up a team of inspectors to investigate the accident.
