The Philippines National Economic & Development Authority (NEDA) has approved the Panguil Bay Bridge project.
The US$115 million scheme involves the construction of a 3.6km two-lane bridge across Panguil Bay to connect the city of Tangub in Misamis Occidental and the municipality of Tubod in Lanao del Norte.
The project is aimed at accelerating growth in northern and western Mindanao, enabling unimpeded flow of goods and services, encouraging the growth of commerce and reducing transport costs.
