An Italian-Turkish consortium of Astaldi and IC Ictas has won the tender for Turkey's North Marmara highway project, according to local reports.
The contract includes construction of the third bridge across Bosphorus in Istanbul.
The project had been retendered as no-one bid in January to build the original scheme. The size of the project was scaled down to about US$2.5 billion from the original US$6 billion.
