A bridge in Belgium is being fitted with radar reflectors to improve safety for shipping.
During February, Vlaamse Waterweg, the Flanders waterways authority, will install seven tubular steel piles fitted with radar reflectors to the upstream side of Temse-Bornem Scheldt Bridge. Fitted at 9m, these reflectors will make the bridge more visible on radar to ships sailing towards Antwerp.
