Work begins today on Texas Department of Transportation's US$69.6 million Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge in Dallas.
Santiago Calatrava has designed the bridge which has a central 366m-long signature section, where cables attached to a 122m-high central transverse arch will hold up the structure. Williams Brothers is contractor for the work, which is due for completion in mid-2009.
