Cable cranes recently lifted the first of 60 truss segments weighing 242t into place on the Guizhou Anpan Expressway Tianmen Bridge.

CREG is building the suspension bridge, which spans 1.5km over the Beipan River Gorge. With its 200m main tower, the structure is one of the most challenging parts of the Anpan Expressway project, which will connect Anshun and Panzhou in the south west of Guizhou province.
