Just two segments are needed to complete the main span of the Penobscot Narrows Bridge and Observatory in Maine, USA. Crews from Cianbro/Reed & Reed have only to place the 45th main span segment on the Verona side of the suspension bridge and a 2.5m-long closure section. Placing the final segment is a complex task, and is expected to take place next month.
