The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission (DRJTBC) has approved a capital budget for 2010 that forecasts investing US$106.9 million in transportation and bridge infrastructure improvements.
All elements of the capital programme are entirely self-funded by DRJTBD through revenues collected on its seven toll bridges.
The funding includes US$14.7 million for work related to a US$309 million project to improve the Scudder Falls Bridge and US$10.5 million for rehabilitation of the Calhoun Street Toll Supported Bridge.
