A ground-breaking ceremony was held yesterday to mark the start of construction of a 1km-long bridge over the River Chenab in Pakistan.
The Head Muhammad Wala Bridge will cut 40km from journeys between cities in the South Punjab area.
Construction is due to take three years.
Pakistan's government also released funds recently for another project, the Aiman- Wala Bridge.
