Schlaich Bergermann und Partner has announced that the steel superstructure is now being erected for the Passerelle La Défense in Paris.
The footbridge's components are being lifted and adjusted on scaffolding. The steel hollow box girder will be welded into position once the curved superstructure is in position. Steel stiffeners and pylons are already taking shape and will later carry loads from cables and rods.
