A Swedish construction company has joined the efforts to salvage the collapsed Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore.
Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) awarded the contract, which is worth US$50 million. It includes debris removal, disposal and clean-up at spans 17, 19 and 20-22.
MDTA is accepting bids for the design-build of the new bridge (link opens in a new tab).
