Maytas Metro has appointed Systra and Parsons Brinckerhoff to carry out the engineering design and project management of the Hyderabad metro.
Phase one of the project involves construction of 71km of double-track electrified lines, with 66 stations. All the lines will be elevated.
The project is being financed under a build-operate-transfer scheme. It is due for completion in early 2013.
