Eleven workers have been killed and 12 injured when a crane cable failed at a bridge under construction near Chongqing in south west China.
The accident happened at the Furongjiang Bridge. Reports say that the workers were being transported in a personnel carrier suspended from a crane when a cable snapped, plunging them to the bridge.
