Eiffage Métal (leader), ETMF of Eiffage Génie Civil and Lassarat will work together under the direction of Architecte des Bâtiments de France on the Colbert Bridge, which dates from 1889. They will restore the steel structure, and renovate the rotating mechanisms, as well as the buildings and masonry in the traffic area.

The first step is to place a temporary 45m-long moveable footbridge. Then the Colbert Bridge will be transferred by barge to a restoration yard at the back of the port. The work is expected to take 15 months.
