The new Clyde Arc bridge has opened, providing the first new crossing in more than 30 years across the River Clyde in the Scottish city of Glasgow. The bridge spans the river at a diagonal and has been nicknamed the Squinty Bridge. The four-lane, 140m-span arched structure cost US$38 million.
