A state government in central India has suspended eight engineers from its public works department for serious negligence in the construction of a road over rail bridge that appears to have a turn of a little over 90 degrees.
The agency and design consultant involved in the project in Bhopal, the state capital of Madhya Pradesh, have also been suspended.
“Our government will not spare anyone for any error or negligence,” said Dr Mohan Yadav, chief minister of Madhya Pradesh.
