The twin-tower Nanjing Yangtze Fourth Bridge has a main span of 1,418m and an overall length of 29km including 5.5km over the river. Its main span currently stands as the world’s sixth longest for a suspension bridge, with the 1,991m of Japan’s Akashi Kaikyo Bridge continuing to hold the record that it set in 1998.

The Nanjing Yangtze Fourth Bridge project represents an investment of US$1.08 billion.
