The largest of three tender packages was signed yesterday for the Nhan Tat suspension bridge in Hanoi, Vietnam.
The US$571 million contract is being carried out by a partnership of IHI and Sumitomo Mitsui Construction.
The bridge will be about 3.7km long and will link central Hanoi with industrial zones to the north.
