A specially-fabricated barge is among equipment being positioned at the site of the Hood Canal Bridge in preparation for placement of anchors to hold the structure's pontoons. Twenty anchors are due to be installed by the middle of August as part of the scheme to replace the existing 2.4km floating bridge in Washington State, USA. Kiewit-General is the contractor.
