An oversized lorry has brought down two beams of a bridge under construction in the US state of Texas, killing one person and injuring three others.
The lorry was too high to pass under the new bridge on the I-35 highway. It hit a beam and the impact caused two beams to become dislodged and fall onto the road.
The vertical clearance of the FM 2484 bridge is 4.28m; Texas Department of Transportation said that it had posted three signs in advance of the bridge that gave a vertical clearance of 4.12m.
