The presidents of Chile, Bolivia and Brazil have agreed plans to complete a highway corridor connecting the three countries. The route will run from Santos on Brazil's Atlantic coast to Chile's Pacific coast.
Most of the 4,000km route already exists but the presidents have agreed to invest some US$600 million to complete it.
