A third bridge is to be built over Londonderry's River Foyle in Northern Ireland.
The bridge's go-ahead was confirmed in a letter from regeneration minister Margaret Ritchie to Foyle MP Mark Durkan.
It will provide pedestrians and cyclists with a link between Guildhall and Ebrington. The new route has been promoted as part of a wider series of greenways and paths by Derry City Council, Ilex URC and Sustrans.
