New York City Department of Transportation has named Tutor Perini as low bidder for the US$102.7 million replacement of the City Island Road Bridge over Eastchester Bay.
The project includes construction of a cable-stayed bridge with a single steel tower together with associated work including provision of a temporary bridge.
Work is expected to begin in April with substantial completion due by July 2016.
