Rizzani De Eccher and Anas, the company responsible for Italy’s roads, have been carrying out the restoration work, with scaffolding support from PERI. As part of the project, the approach viaducts and steel struts were restored. The metal spans were converted to a continuous deck. Contractors consolidated the foundations and piers and carried out seismic adaptations, as well as stabilising the slopes (link opens in new tab).

The reinforced concrete bridge with Corten steel struts dates to 1985. It was designed by Studio Matildi and built by Mazzi.
