The bidders are CCECC Nigeria Limited; CGGC-CGC Joint Venture; China Harbour Engineering Company; China State Construction Engineering Corporation Nigeria; IC ICTAS Insaat Sanayi ve Ticaret; Julius Berger Nigeria; Mota-Engil & CCCC Consortium; Mutual Commitment Company; Power Construction Corporation of China and Ingenieros Consultores through Makais Energy.
A joint statement has issued by the special adviser to the governor on works and infrastructure, Aramide Adeyoye, and the director-general of the Office of Public-Private Partnerships, Ope George. The statement said that the Lagos state government will now evaluate the applications and then announce the successful prequalified bidders, who will be eligible for participation in the 'request for proposals' stage.
