Georgiou Brady Joint Venture has been chosen as the contractor to construct the Breakfast Creek Green Bridge, following an extensive procurement process.
The Breakfast Creek Green Bridge and Lores Bonney Riverwalk extension is designed to make it safer and more convenient for people to walk or ride along the river from the inner city to the northern suburbs.
Other green bridges will link Kangaroo Point to the Brisbane Central Business District (link opens in new tab), Toowong to West End and St Lucia to West End,
Construction of the Breakfast Creek Green Bridge will start in the middle of this year, with the bridge expected to open in early 2024.
