China Railway Construction Corporation earlier this month completed the simultaneous rotation of two 60m bridge sections weighing a total of 25,500t.

The 44m wide prestressed concrete bridge crosses a freight line and one of the city of Xi’an’s metro lines. The left section, weighing 14,500t, was rotated 71.26 degrees and the right section, weighing 11,00t, was rotated 111.01 degrees. The operation took 68 minutes.
