A joint venture led by Hochtief will build the replacement of the A40 Rhine Bridge in Duisburg-Neuenkamp.
The contract involves construction of a 802m-long cable-stayed bridge with two pylons, standing 380m apart. It also includes associated highway sections.

Client for the project is state-owned highway planning and construction company Deutsche Einheit Fernstraßenplanungs- und -bau (Deges).
Construction works are scheduled to start early in June and the project is scheduled for completion in 2026.
