OHLA (formerly OHL) will carry out the US$29.5 million contract, which is for the government of Colombia through the Instituto Nacional de Vías (Invías). The new viaduct will be built at kilomtre 58 of the road that connects the Llanos Orientales (Eastern Plains) and the centre of the country.
This project one of 50 making up a programme being executed by Invías within the ‘Commitment to Colombia’ strategy. The overall programme involves a government investment of US$2.9 billion, the generation of more than 100,000 new direct jobs and the paving of 1,660 new kilometres of road.
