Parnu on the west coast of Estonia has announced a design tender for a bridge replacement project.
The government of the city has requested two preliminary designs for the renovation of Kesklinna Bridge in the city centre: one for a structure that opens in the middle, and the other for a non-moveable crossing.
The draft city budget for 2026 has set aside US$4 million to renovate the Kesklinna bridge (including design).

Subsequently, a design and construction tender that was won by Infortar Group. The bridge, which has the longest span in Estonia at 140m, was completed earlier this year.
