Tianjin, China

Organized by Sacramento Section of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) + BRIDGE Magazine (China)

China has kept exploring and researching the design and construction of orthotropic bridges in the past two decades. The first orthotropic steel suspension bridge in China is the Humen Pearl River Suspension Bridge completed in 1997. Since then, numerous long span bridges have employed various forms of orthotropic steel decks.

In the Fourth Orthotropic Bridge Conference, experts and engineers in China will share their experiences and opinions on the design, construction, maintenance, and repairs of orthotropic bridges with experts from all over the world.
