Construction of a 2.1km crossing of the Mahanadi River was completed this week with the placing of the final steel girder.
The bridge is part of a scheme to double the track of the Talcher-Cuttack-Paradip railway. The project is funded by Rail Vikas Nigam and has been built by Gammon India and Braithwaite Burn & Jessop Construction.
