Joton Paints has been awarded a US$1 million contract for the Ras Al Khor Bridge in Dubai. The contract is for the supply of Jotashield Tex Ultra to cover 350,000m2. The 12-lane creek crossing is the first of three new projects that will eventually carry traffic from Dubai Festival City towards Sheikh Zayed Road. Main contractor Besix began work in March 2005 and the contract is due for completion in February next year.
