A new bridge over the Ohio River opened on Tuesday. The Pomeroy-Mason Bridge is a US$65 million, four-lane cable-stayed structure in the south east of the US state of Ohio.
The new structure has diamond-shaped towers and a main span of 205m. It includes decorative features - stainless steel handrails, lights on the cables and a large concrete mural depicting life along the Ohio River.
It replaces a two-lane bridge, which will be removed.
