The company has 1,274 construction days to complete the bridge under the contract, which was awarded in October 2012.

VINCI offered the lowest price in a public tender. Its US$365.98m bid came in under the US$386.62m submitted by the Spanish-Mexican team of Acciona Infraestructuras-Tradeco and a bid of US$429.63 from the Brazilian-Korean consortium Odebrecht-Hyundai Joint Venture.

The double-plane, twin pylon, cable-stayed bridge will feature two lanes of traffic in each direction. Its length will be 4.6km and it will stand 75m. The bridge will be built with reinforced concrete.
