The Rach Mieu 2 Bridge will connect the provinces of Tien Giang and Ben Tre. The Vietnamese government is investing about US$227 million building a new 17.6km route, including the 2km-long bridge with a main span of 270m over the Tien River.
The new crossing is designed to relieve congestion on the existing Rach Mieu Bridge.
