Work has begun on a 2km bridge over the Tien River in Vietnam.
Cao Lanh Bridge is being built by Chinese Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) and Vinaconex E&C.
The bridge has a total length of 2015.7m, including a cable-stayed section supported by two planes of cables from 123.4m-tall H-shaped pylons.
The total contract value is US$145 million, funded by a grant from the Australian government and a loan from the Asian Development Bank.
