Abstracts of papers are solicited that report on the research and development of new and emerging technologies, new guidelines and innovative approaches that facilitate technology transfer, unique field demonstrations of existing and new technologies, and the development of special programmes of general interest. Preference will be given to abstracts and papers that focus on transferring research into practice.
Special topics may be proposed by those who are willing to chair their proposed sessions. The abstracts and papers submitted to each special session will be reviewed individually according to the general procedure set for SHMII-9.
