Brazil's Andrade Gutierrez is to build a US$200 million viaduct high above the Rhumel River in the Algerian city of Constantine.
The 1,150m-long structure will cross the river at a height of 130m and has a focal cable-stayed section. Construction is due to take 32 months.
Constantine calls itself the city of bridges, with a number of dramatic crossings of the ravine that surrounds it.
